Your assumptions

Start with the work.

Enter a number or adjust its slider. The estimate updates as you go.

01 · Time and team

Re-keying, checking and chasing, added up across everyone involved. Count one workflow, not the whole job.

Wages plus benefits and payroll costs, per hour.

People still review exceptions, so it's rarely all of it. Use a conservative estimate your team can check.

Project and operating costs

02 · Project and running costs

Use your own implementation budget. This is an assumption, not an AlbaHub quote.

Include additional software subscriptions, messaging, AI usage, and ongoing support for this workflow.

The starting values are examples. Replace them with assumptions your team can check.

A transparent starting point.

Use the estimate to frame a conversation, then validate it against the actual work. It is a planning tool, not an AlbaHub quote or a promise of results.

  1. 01

    Time freed up

Weekly team hours × the share of time removed.

  2. 02

    Annual value

Time freed up × staff cost per hour × 48 working weeks, less 12 months of running costs.

  3. 03

    Project payback

One-time project budget ÷ weekly net value. Weekly net value is the annual value divided by 52; payback is rounded up to a whole week.

What to include, and what this leaves out
  • Count one workflow across the people involved. Include checking, repeated entry, and follow-up; keep the expected reduction conservative.
  • Include wages, benefits, and payroll costs in the hourly rate. Include additional software, messaging, AI usage, and agreed support in monthly running costs.
  • The estimate excludes new sales, reduced errors, taxes, financing, and transition costs. It is not a cash-flow forecast.
  • Inputs are capped at 60 hours per week, $100 per hour, and 60% time removed to keep this focused on one workflow.
  • If running costs meet or exceed staff-time value, the calculator shows no estimated payback.
